Willkommen – schön, dass ihr dabei seid!
Ohne euch gäbe es keinen Tag der offenen Tür. Punkt. Ihr seid es, die mit Forschung, Technik, Daten, Organisation, IT, Verwaltung und ganz viel Know-how zeigen, was GEOMAR eigentlich macht – und warum das wichtig ist.

Am 30. August 2026 öffnen wir von 11–17 Uhr am Standort Ostufer (Seefischmarkt) die Türen für die Öffentlichkeit. Dann dürfen Besucher:innen hinter die Kulissen schauen, Fragen stellen, staunen, anfassen, zuhören – und erleben, wie vielfältig Ozeanforschung bei uns ist. Infostände, Vorträge, Großgeräte, Neubau, Bibliothek, Fördeblick: alles dabei.

Der Tag der offenen Tür ist Teil des Stadtteilfests „AHOI Ostufer: Fisch, Forschung und Vergnügen“. Weitere Informationen dazu findet ihr hier.

Damit euer Auftritt entspannt läuft, sammeln wir mit diesem Formular alles, was wir für die Planung brauchen. Bitte füllt es sorgfältig aus – euer Zukunfts-Ich und das Orga-Team werden es euch danken.

Welcome, and thank you for taking part in the Open Day.
This event would not be possible without your contributions. Through your work in research, technology, data, organization, IT, and administration, you help make GEOMAR’s work visible and tangible to the public.

On August 30th, 2026, GEOMAR will open its doors from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Ostufer site (Sea Fish Market). Visitors will gain insights behind the scenes of our work—through information stands, lectures, presentations of large-scale equipment, and access to the new building and library overlooking the fjord.

The Open Day is part of the district festival “AHOI Ostufer: Fish, Research and Pleasure.” Further information is available here.
