We want to bring CDRmare experts together in a joint lunch exchange, where Early Career Scientists (ECS) can talk to those CDRmare members that they have always wanted to talk to but never got the chance. Those experts could be principal investigators as well as members of the coordination team (data management, transfer, communication etc.)
The concept for this special event during our upcoming CDRmare general assembly has been developed together with the CDRmare ECS representatives.
The format foresees two exchange rounds of approximately 30 minutes each during the lunch break on the second day of the general assembly. At each bar table, two ECS will be paired with one “Late Career Expert”. While the experts remain at the same table throughout, the ECS rotate between tables after the first round.
This structured but informal format aims to foster meaningful dialogue, expand networks, and support career development across career stages.
To facilitate smooth coordination, all ECS participants will receive a personalised “entry ticket” indicating their assigned table numbers for rounds 1 and 2.
