CDRmare Early Career Scientists Trainings Workshop

Early Career Scientists (ECS) trainings workshop for doctoral and postdoctoral researchers

Interdisciplinary communication - Focus: media training

We would like to invite you to our CDRmare Early Career Scientist Workshop before the CDRmare General Assembly 2026 in Berlin-Dahlem (Seminaris CampusHotel):·

Monday, 16. Feb., 14:00 – 18:30 + joint dinner

Tuesday, 17. Feb., 8:30 – 12:30

What can you expect from the Early Career Scientist Communication Workshop?

Our upcoming workshop is planned as media training and will focus on you and the key messages of your research. Participants will learn which aspects of their work are most relevant to the public or stakeholders. They will learn how to prepare for any type of interview and develop their own key messages. These key messages and interview skills will be tested through several role-plays, including a recorded TV interview.

Everyone will work on their own topic, thus making the most of your time at the workshop. However, you will not only learn from your own performances, but also observe how your CDRmare colleagues perform. Therefore, registering for the ECS workshop is highly recommended, regardless of how long you have been a member of CDRmare. This workshop is suitable for all levels, from beginners to experienced Early Career Scientists. We look forward to seeing you in Berlin!
