Dear Doctoral Researchers,
we are really excited to invite you to our second DR Retreat at 25.-28.09.2023 near Lübeck. After the wonderful event we had together last year for the first time, we decided to organize another great Retreat for you guys!
As some of this years specials, we will have a hackathon, poster sessions, workshops , cooking groups ans social activities and for the first time also invite DRs from FYORD to join us.
How can you participate in the DR Retreat? In short:
- the Retreat is open to all Doctoral Researchers from GEOMAR and FYORD
- costs for accomodation, catering and poster printing are covered by GEOMAR
-> DRs do have to organize and pay for the transportation/travel expenses by themselves (you can use the Semesterticket)
- every participant has to contribute to the event by presenting a scientific poster (you can team-up with colleagues, to present your research together. Remember: keep it simple, so that DRs from other scientific disciplines also get what you're doing)
- registration (until 03.09.23)
To help us with the planning and due to limited capacities of the accomodation/conference site, we ask you to register: (first come, first served!!)
(do not use gmail adresses to register)
Further details will be shared with you, once we get registrations and an overview of participant's scientific input. If you have any further questions just let us know.
We are looking forward to meeting many of you there!
Cheers,
your DokTeam
