By participating, you agree that:
• Your data will only be used to organize the event
• Photos and videos may be taken and published (e.g., website, newsletter, press)
Project Description
What information should I provide about my contribution?
Keep it short and clear:
• What is your project about?
• What will you show?
• What should visitors learn or experience?
This helps us plan—and makes your booth more appealing to visitors.
Equipment
When will my equipment be available?
Your equipment will be ready on June 25 in the early afternoon after the traditional trip.
You will receive all details via email in advance.
GEOMAR T-Shirts
Will there be event T-shirts?
Yes—while supplies last:
• GEOMAR T-shirts in various sizes (women’s and men’s cuts)
Language
Which language should I use at my booth?
Our guests are international, but most speak German or English.
Lunch on Board
Is food provided?
Yes—ALKOR provides drinks and lunch for all volunteers.
Please bring a reusable water bottle.
Meals
Are there other meals provided?

Name Tags
Will name tags be provided?
Yes—name tags with the GEOMAR logo will be available at your booth for you to fill in.
Preferred Booth Location
Can I choose where my booth will be?
You can indicate your preferred location.
Final placement is done by the organizing team, but your preferences will be considered.
Registration
How do I register?
Registration is done via the Indico form, where you enter your personal details and contribution information.
Important: Registration is linked to your Indico account.
Required Information
What fields are mandatory?
We need the following information to process your registration:
• Title of your contribution
• Type of contribution
• Short description
• Space requirements
• Availability on the event day
• Consent to data protection
• Consent to image use
Safety
Do I need to provide safety information?
Yes—if your contribution involves any special safety considerations (e.g., experiments, lab work, technical equipment), please indicate this in the form.
Setup & Dismantling
Who is responsible for setup and teardown?
You are responsible for setting up and dismantling your booth.
Please plan enough time and bring everything you need (equipment, decorations, materials).
A bit of muscle power might come in handy 💪
Ordered equipment will be provided on board ALKOR.
We also appreciate help with dismantling and returning equipment.

How much space can I request?
