Testing Solid Earth Climate connections Through mid Ocean Ridge time series

Dear T-SECTOR members and collaborators,

We are pleased to announce our second ERC-Synergy project T-SECTOR General Assembly (GA) after one and a half year since T-SECTOR kicked off. The GA will take place at GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel, Germany.

The GA will provide an in-depth overview of the interdisciplinary science conducted and planed in T-SECTOR combining the expertise in marine geophysics, paleo-oceanography as well as igneous petrology and geochemistry.

The T-SECTOR GA will be held from 14 - 15 July 2025 as a hybrid meeting to allow international collaboration partners to participate. The meeting will be about showcasing and discussing emerging  research, informing about T-SECTOR developments and collaborations, presenting and discussing T-SECTOR cruise and laboratory plans. 

The T-SECTOR GA is accompanied by a side event for Early Career Scientists (ECS) and non-GEOMAR T-SECTOR members on Tuesday morning 

Registration will be open until 07 July 2025 (the link to the registration form is at the bottom of this page), however, to enable best possible planning we ask you to register asap.
