Connect:ting - Academia meets Companies

Target group: GEOMAR postdocs, associated researchers and others interested (also open to FYORD, AWI, GFZ and previous GEOMAR postdocs)

Objective: GEOMAR scientists meet with companies from Northern Germany
Registration: Please register so that we have enough coffee and bring your own mug.
The Event
Postdocs are desperately needed on the job market. At the same time, many postdocs are looking for jobs and cooperations. This event connects well-trained postdocs with companies from the marine sector.
Companies from Northern Germany will present their fields of activity to interested scientists at GEOMAR. The companies introduce themselves in a pitch of 3-5 minutes. After the introduction round, the company representatives and scientists will have the opportunity to discuss in small groups. The participants will rotate between individual lunch-snack courses to allow as many of our staff and company representatives as possible to get to know each other.
We look forward to welcoming representatives from Develogic, Eisenschmidt Consulting Crew, HASYTECHgroup, KPMG, Kraken Robotics, Landesamt für Umwelt, Subsea Europe Services, Wirtschaftsministerium Kiel, and Zeitengrad.
If you are interested in further collaboration or can imagine working together for a while, PACT offers the possibility of a 2-3 month paid internship as part of the CONNECT Hospitation Program.
