Objective: GEOMAR scientists meet with companies from Northern Germany
The Event
Postdocs are desperately needed on the job market. At the same time, many postdocs are looking for jobs and cooperations. This event connects well-trained postdocs with companies from the marine sector.
The PACT Career Center and the GEOMAR Technology Transfer invited companies from Northern Germany to present their fields of activity to interested scientists at GEOMAR. The companies introduce themselves in a pitch of 3-5 minutes. After the introduction round, the company representatives and scientists will have the opportunity to discuss in small groups. The participants will rotate between individual lunch-snack courses to allow as many of our staff and company representatives as possible to get to know each other.
If there is interest in further collaboration or you consider working together for a while, GEOMAR offers the possibility of a 2-3 month hospitation.
