We are happy to welcome you to the 2025 MarDATA Retreat at GEOMAR

Registration Now Open!

We are excited to announce the upcoming MarDATA Retreat 2025, bringing together our community of doctoral researchers, supervisors and principal investigators for another inspiring exchange of ideas and scientific progress.

While the full program is still in development, registration is already open and warmly welcomed!

This year’s retreat will once again showcase a diverse range of project updates by MarDATA doctoral researchers, offering insight into their work at the intersection of marine science and data science. For the first time, we are also pleased to feature contributions from associated projects, expanding the scope and collaboration within our network.

All project update presentations will be open to the public at GEOMAR and partner institutions, providing a platform for broader scientific engagement and knowledge sharing.

The program will officially begin on Monday, October 6th at 12:30 PM with a Welcome by the MarDATA Coordinator.
