Scientific Conference Kalamata - 40th Anniversary of the 1986 Kalamata Earthquake


The scientific conference is organized around four thematic sessions:

 

Seismic Hazards

→ Earthquake processes, seismic risk, and lessons from past events.

Volcanic Hazards

→ Volcanic processes, monitoring, and geohazard assessment.

Tsunami Hazards

→ Tsunami risk, coastal impact, and preparedness.

Landscape Changes & the Last Mile

→ Landscape evolution, risk communication, Living Labs, and links between science, stakeholders, and local communities.
