This forum highlights how in situ camera systems and automated image analysis can be incooperated in plankton monitoring approaches leading to evidence-based marine policy and environmental management:

Contribute your expertise and perspective to ongoing discussions on integrating novel methods into existing monitoring frameworks
Help identify practical challenges, needs, and opportunities for implementation under the MSFD
Provide direct feedback to guide the development of new monitoring technologies, including interfaces and visualisation tools
